Why you haven’t been able to lose weight you want
Share
The thing about not being able to lose weight I want has been on my mind than anyone. My kidney disease has been a great contributor to this and the reason why I started an effective coaching program. In my program, I show you things that you don’t think about.
Salt key for you to lose weight
Sodium overload leads to increased blood pressure, which puts a strain on your kidneys. The typical American diet has been estimated to contain about 3,300 mg of sodium per day, which is much higher than the 2,300 mg daily maximum (about a teaspoon of salt) recommended by the government for healthy adults.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 75 percent of the sodium Americans consume is found in processed food and restaurant meals.
Other common high-sodium foods that may be lurking in your pantry or refrigerator include:
- Canned soups
- Processed meats like lunch meats, hot dogs, sausages
- Frozen pizza
- Frozen dinners
- Snack foods like chips, crackers, pretzels
- Condiments like ketchup, BBQ sauce, soy sauce
- Salad dressing
- Pickled foods like pickles, olives, beets
- Canned vegetables
It’s pretty cool to see how the mindset changes when you commit to changing your body to lose weight.
I used to wear old navy active wear ( not that there’s anything wrong with it now) but now I search for those cute leggings with a matching top that matches my shoes.
I used never to care if anything matched. I never cared what it cost and honestly, I thought it was a waste of money to buy workout clothes just to sweat.
Now I feel good and want to look good and always try to match down to the socks.
What are the side effects of not eating enough while you lose weight?
It is easier to think that when you want to lose weight, you have to fast and workout hard. Sadly, you need a certain amount of calorie intake that can sustain you. Signs and symptoms that a person may not be eating enough include:
- Fatigue.
- Getting ill more often.
- Hair loss.
- Reproductive difficulties.
- Constantly feeling cold.
- Impaired growth in young people.
- Skin problems.
- Depression.

When picking Quaker Oatmeal products. The oats are healthier than boxed oatmeal. This can play a part in your journey to lose weight.
It’s very difficult to include the best brands on the guide because there are so many and what I like, you may not like or what is available in my store may not be available in yours.
The food products mentioned in the guide have numbers for your reference to make the best choice for you.
Eat your way is more of an educational program because it drives you to look, read, and understand labels so eventually, it becomes a new habit and sticks in your mind forever.
I can either give my son the answers to his schoolwork or I can teach him so he learns how to do it himself.
I don’t know about you but I’ve done so many diets before that did not make me stick it out and what I learned was that it was just a diet. You follow, lose, and gain it right back.
There was no education and no one asked me to read labels or track so eventually, I quit and gained it all back.
Now that I’ve learned The HOW, I’m no longer ON a diet. My mind is FREE of the HOW. All that pressure that I felt no longer exists so I’m no longer in fear of food or gaining anything back.
I now have a new habit and a new lifestyle.
Breakfast suggestions to lose weight you want
A healthy breakfast is 2 eggs + 2 egg whites and if you’re going to eat a carb, rolled Oats is BEST because they are LESS processed than Toast. They’re more calories but they are LESS processed so they make you feel full longer plus other benefits that they have.
Protein Shake is best to be consumed after a workout to repair the muscle. If you’re going to make it a meal then feel free to add more stuff into it to make it more filling with vitamins and nutrients.
Tilapia Is a nice, filling fish. It is best to have it as it and not breaded because that bread is processed, and anything processed does NOT leave our bodies fast enough and is not nutritious. That gets stored as fat.
It is best to have 1 carb per meal so if you’re going to eat rice then don’t bread the fish.
If you look at my food list you won’t see bread crumbs, breaded fish, or toast. It’s always BEST to avoid foods that are not on the list and replace them with something on the list.
If you can’t avoid bread then Ezekiel Bread Is a better choice.
It’s about WHAT you are eating not how much you are eating. It’s very important to be properly fueled for your workouts so make sure you fuel yourself with calories before your workout.
